The AV-supplied vocal mixer must have enough microphone inputs, individual vocal controls and adjustable vocal effects. Playback connects from Peter’s laptop.
Customer supplies a sturdy table (approximately 2 m × 1 m) and tablecloth. Suitable electrical access is required.

Travel & payment details
Up to 60 km: travel included; venue parking charged separately where applicable.
Beyond 60 km: quoted upfront, including agreed parking and tolls.
Beyond 100 km: quoted, including parking and tolls.
Distances are measured one way from Toronto M5R via Google Maps. For events beyond 100 km finishing after 11 pm, the customer arranges accommodation of at least 4-star standard.
A 50% retainer secures your approved booking. The balance and advance add-ons are due 14 days before the event. Approved event-night overtime is invoiced within three business days and due on receipt. Booking Terms →
The Songbook
572 songs organised into eight books: 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, Afropop and Afrikaans. Guests can browse the live songbook directly from their phones and bring their selections to the host station.

For corporate socials, office holiday parties and private celebrations, share your guest profile and preferred music before the event. The hosted karaoke package includes live DJ sets, singer rotation, playback and written planning. Agree how singing and DJ sets fit your running order.
How the booking works
- Check your date and send the venue, guest count and performance hours.
- Browse the current songbook and share the styles your guests enjoy.
- Confirm the venue or provider’s AV scope using the technical rider.
- Approve the written estimate and follow the Booking Terms to secure the date.
Questions in your event quote
Do the hosted karaoke fees include equipment?
DJ Performance Only includes Peter’s controller, laptop and headphones; your venue / AV company supplies and sets up the remaining required equipment. DJ + Equipment includes the equipment marked with a check in the package comparison, with setup and teardown.
Can guests choose songs in advance?
Browse the current searchable songbook to check available tracks and share preferences with Peter. Guests can use its QR access at the event and bring selections to the host station.
Do we need a separate singer screen?
The planned configuration uses two mirrored displays: a 32-inch singer-facing screen and a 52-inch audience-facing screen. Venue equipment must provide a suitable performer and audience view, confirmed before booking.

Bring your plan together
Check your date or send an enquiry with your venue, guest count and preferred package. Peter confirms availability and equipment needs, sends your written quote, then guides your music and event planning through the existing booking system.
Before booking: Prices are CAD plus HST. DJ Performance Only includes Peter’s controller, laptop, headphones, music preparation and planning; your venue or appointed AV team provides suitable sound, required microphones and connections. Lighting and haze are optional for walk-in bookings. Standard equipment packages cover one indoor room, with sound, wireless microphones, dancefloor lights, six uplights, setup and removal. Equipment, supplier costs, delivery/setup and venue suitability must be confirmed in your accepted written quote. Larger events, outdoor setups, extra sound zones, exceptional travel and difficult access are quoted upfront. Haze is optional and needs venue permission.
